How long does a snooker match last?

Tournament finals are usually best of 17 or best of 19, while the world championship uses longer matches – ranging from best of 19 in the qualifiers and the first round up to best of 35 for the final (first to 18), and is played over four sessions of play held over two days.
Equipment: Snooker table,
Venue: Snooker table

The most frames of a sanctioned World Snooker event is 35 frames for the final, followed by 33 frames for the semi-final. These matches are conducted over the course of several hours, multiple session and multiple days.

A single game of snooker is called a frame. In the first round of a snooker tournament, the matches are played over eleven frames (so the first player to win six frames wins the match). In the later rounds matches are played over 15 frames

O'Sullivan is regarded by many as the best snooker player of all time and holds the records for the most centuries and maximum breaks in professional snooker.

In the modern era (since 1969), the best record is that of Stephen Hendry, who won the title seven times. Steve Davis and Ray Reardon both won six times while Ronnie O'Sullivan has won five titles.
